Straight Answers
How durable is it?
Engineered for high-traffic, street-facing commercial use, resists scuffs and weather exposure.
Can it be cleaned?
Yes, standard commercial cleaning products are compatible with the finish.
Will edges lift?
Proper edge-sealing during install prevents lifting; inspected as part of final QA.
Can damaged sections be repaired?
Yes, individual sections can be re-wrapped without redoing the whole storefront.
Does wrapping affect the fire rating?
A fire rating belongs to a complete tested assembly, not to a finish material. Class A describes surface burning under ASTM E84. For fire door and frame work, Koroseal holds UL Certificate of Compliance 20200417-R27442 covering cladding materials for fire doors and frames. We confirm the finish, the substrate and the opening before install, and documentation is available on request.
Can wraps go around glass frames, columns, and signage?
Yes, with extra prep time to seat the film around frames and mounted signage.
Which painted surfaces are compatible?
Most factory-finished, painted surfaces qualify, confirmed during evaluation.
Flat, smooth metal or laminate frames
Continuous surfaces allow for a clean, uniform finish.
Structurally sound panels
Signage, hardware, and mounted fixtures can be removed for proper installation.
Clean, bondable surfaces
Frames should be rigid and free from significant damage that would prevent proper adhesion.
Minor scuffs or fading
Our team will evaluate and properly prepare the storefront surface to ensure it is suitable for strong, lasting adhesion.
Heavily rusted or corroded frames
Corrosion prevents a clean, adherent surface for wrapping.
Cracked or structurally damaged panels
Structural damage compromises the finish and long-term durability.
Wet or actively leaking surfaces
Structural deterioration requires repair or replacement first.
Unstable/loose mounting
Loose or shifting frames prevent secure, lasting adhesion.
