4.2 Advertising Partners and Customer Match Programs
We share customer data, including hashed email addresses, hashed phone numbers, and hashed name and address information, with advertising platforms including, but not limited to, Google, Meta, Microsoft, and similar providers. These platforms use that data to match our customers to their user accounts so that we can show relevant advertising, suppress advertising to existing customers, build similar audiences, and measure the results of our campaigns.
These transfers are subject to the applicable platform’s data-processing terms. In some states, including California, transfers of this kind are treated as “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising rather than as service-provider processing. See Sections 4.3 and 8.
Specifically with respect to Google, we participate in Google Customer Match and related Google advertising programs. We confirm that:
- We share customer data with Google and other third parties to perform services on our behalf.
- We obtain consent for such sharing where required by applicable law or by any applicable platform policies governing personalized advertising and user consent.
- Data files we upload are used only to match our customers to platform accounts and to ensure our campaigns comply with applicable policies.
You can learn more about Google’s practices through Google’s Partner Sites Policy and control Google ad personalization through Google Ads Settings.
4.3 We Do Not Sell Personal Information for Money
We do not sell your personal information in exchange for monetary payment. However, certain sharing with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under some state privacy laws. See Section 8 for your rights, including the right to opt out.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We and our partners use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, measure traffic, and deliver and measure advertising. These include tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing tags, and Meta Pixel.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may limit some Site functionality.
Our Site does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required by law.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including for the duration of our business relationship with you and afterward as needed to comply with legal, tax, accounting, warranty, and recordkeeping obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Marketing and advertising audience data is retained for the shorter of our stated retention period or the maximum period permitted by the relevant platform.
7. Data Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
