Straight Answers

Common Questions, Clearly Answered

No need to click to reveal, the objections that come up on every call, answered up front.

How durable is it?

Architectural film is engineered for high-traffic commercial use and resists scuffs, scratches, and daily wear from housekeeping carts and luggage.

Can it be cleaned?

Yes, standard commercial cleaning products used on doors today are compatible with the finish.

Will edges lift?

Proper edge-sealing technique during install prevents lifting; this is inspected as part of our final QA step.

Can damaged sections be repaired?

Yes, individual panels or sections can be re-wrapped without redoing the entire door.

Does wrapping affect the fire rating?

A fire rating belongs to a complete tested assembly, not to a finish material. Class A describes surface burning under ASTM E84. For fire door and frame work, Koroseal holds UL Certificate of Compliance 20200417-R27442 covering cladding materials for fire doors and frames. We confirm the finish, the substrate and the opening before install, and documentation is available on request.

Can raised-panel doors be wrapped?

Yes, with additional prep time to properly seat the film into panel details and edges.

Which painted surfaces are compatible?

Most factory-finished and painted commercial doors qualify, our evaluation step confirms bondability before work begins.

A casework or millwork wrap is a premium vinyl film applied to cabinetry, counters, built-ins, shelving, or custom woodwork. It instantly refreshes surfaces, mimics high-end finishes like wood, stone, or metal, and avoids costly replacement or demolition.
Wraps can be applied to most commercial-grade wood, laminate, MDF, and solid surfaces. They are suitable for hotel reception desks, cabinetry, retail displays, office millwork, and other built-in features, creating a polished, modern look without removing the original structure.
We use high-performance architectural vinyl films from leading brands like 3M DI‑NOC, Reatec, Benif, and Belbien. These films are durable, easy to clean, and come in wood grain, stone, metallic, and solid finishes suitable for commercial applications.
Installation is fast because the wrap adheres directly to the existing surface. Small sections can be completed within a few hours, while larger projects may take a day or two. This minimizes disruption compared to traditional remodeling or replacement.
Class A describes surface burning under ASTM E84, not a fire-resistance rating in minutes. Koroseal publishes that all Reatec finishes meet Class A, and 3M publishes that most DI-NOC products are Class A. For fire door and frame work specifically, Koroseal holds UL Certificate of Compliance 20200417-R27442 covering cladding materials for fire doors and frames. We confirm the finish, the substrate and the opening before install, and documentation is available on request.
These wraps are abrasion-resistant, scratch-resistant, and long-lasting, designed for heavy use in commercial environments. They protect the original surfaces from wear while maintaining a fresh, high-end appearance with minimal maintenance over years.
Wraps are faster, cleaner, and more cost-effective than repainting, refinishing, or replacing cabinetry and built-ins. They eliminate dust, demolition, and odors, while offering a wider range of textures, patterns, and finishes than traditional materials.
Absolutely. Architectural vinyl wraps are available in hundreds of colors, textures, and finishes, allowing you to match brand colors, interior design themes, or luxury materials. Customization ensures a cohesive look across all cabinetry, counters, and built-ins.
Yes. Wrapping preserves the existing materials, reduces construction waste, and avoids full demolition. Using wraps is an environmentally friendly alternative, minimizing waste and material consumption while extending the life of your cabinetry and commercial millwork.
